This ayah assures the believers who are persecuted for their faith that Allah will certainly admit them into a place of residence that will please them—referring to Paradise. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi, this is a promise of honor and contentment for those who endure trials in the path of Allah. The closing attributes—that Allah is All-Knowing and Forbearing—emphasize that His reward is just and administered with perfect wisdom, as He knows the true state of hearts and is patient with His servants.
