Allah reassures Prophet Musa (Moses) not to fear Pharaoh, declaring that Musa will be victorious and elevated above his enemies. Classical scholars like Ibn Kathir and Al-Tabari interpret this as divine assurance that truth and the message of Allah will ultimately prevail over falsehood and tyranny, regardless of the apparent power of the oppressor. This ayah emphasizes Allah's protection of His messenger and the ultimate triumph of His religion.

This ayah occurs within the narrative of Musa's encounter with Pharaoh at the beginning of Surah Taha. It follows Allah's command to Musa to go to Pharaoh with the message of monotheism. The context is Musa's natural human fear when facing the most powerful ruler of his time, and Allah's response provides divine reassurance and moral courage to the Prophet.
Related Hadiths
While no hadith directly quotes this ayah, Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim contain hadiths affirming that Allah supports His prophets against their enemies. The general theme aligns with prophetic traditions emphasizing reliance on Allah (tawakkul) when facing adversity.
