Saba (Sheba) · Ayah 37

وَمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُكُم بِٱلَّتِى تُقَرِّبُكُمْ عِندَنَا زُلْفَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَنْ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًا فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ جَزَآءُ ٱلضِّعْفِ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْغُرُفَـٰتِ ءَامِنُونَ 37

And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].

وَمَآwamāAnd not
أَمْوَٰلُكُمْamwālukumyour wealth
وَلَآwalāand not
أَوْلَـٰدُكُمawlādukumyour children
بِٱلَّتِىbi-allatī[that]

تُقَرِّبُكُمْtuqarribukumwill bring you close
عِندَنَاʿindanāto Us
زُلْفَىٰٓzul'fā(in) position
إِلَّاillābut
مَنْmanwhoever

ءَامَنَāmanabelieves
وَعَمِلَwaʿamilaand does
صَـٰلِحًۭاṣāliḥanrighteousness
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَfa-ulāikathen those

لَهُمْlahumfor them
noun
جَزَآءُjazāu(will be) reward
ٱلضِّعْفِl-ḍiʿ'fitwo-fold
ضعفd-'-fadjective
بِمَاbimāfor what

عَمِلُوا۟ʿamilūthey did
وَهُمْwahumand they
noun
فِى(will be) in
ٱلْغُرُفَـٰتِl-ghurufātithe high dwellings
ءَامِنُونَāminūnasecure
