Az-Zukhruf (The Ornaments of Gold) · Ayah 19

وَجَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَـٰدُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ إِنَـٰثًا ۚ أَشَهِدُوا۟ خَلْقَهُمْ ۚ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَـٰدَتُهُمْ وَيُسْـَٔلُونَ 19

And they described the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, as females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned.

وَجَعَلُوا۟wajaʿalūAnd they made

ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَl-malāikatathe Angels

ملكm-l-knoun

ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose who

سَتُكْتَبُsatuk'tabuWill be recorded

كتبk-t-bverb

شَهَـٰدَتُهُمْshahādatuhumtheir testimony

شهدsh-h-dnoun

وَيُسْـَٔلُونَwayus'alūnaand they will be questioned
