Al-Isra (The Night Journey) · Ayah 21

ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ أَكْبَرُ دَرَجَـٰتٍ وَأَكْبَرُ تَفْضِيلًا 21

Look how We have favored [in provision] some of them over others. But the Hereafter is greater in degrees [of difference] and greater in distinction.

فَضَّلْنَاfaḍḍalnāWe preferred

بَعْضَهُمْbaʿḍahumsome of them

عَلَىٰʿalāover

بَعْضٍۢ ۚbaʿḍinothers

وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُwalalākhiratuAnd surely the Hereafter

أَكْبَرُakbaru(is) greater

دَرَجَـٰتٍۢdarajātin(in) degrees

وَأَكْبَرُwa-akbaruand greater

تَفْضِيلًۭاtafḍīlan(in) excellence
