فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلطُّوفَانَ وَٱلْجَرَادَ وَٱلْقُمَّلَ وَٱلضَّفَادِعَ وَٱلدَّمَ ءَايَـٰتٍ مُّفَصَّلَـٰتٍ فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ 133

So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.

فَأَرْسَلْنَاfa-arsalnāSo We sent
عَلَيْهِمُʿalayhimuon them

وَٱلْجَرَادَwal-jarādaand the locusts
وَٱلْقُمَّلَwal-qumalaand the lice

ءَايَـٰتٍۢāyātin(as) signs
مُّفَصَّلَـٰتٍۢmufaṣṣalātinmanifest
فصلf-s-ladjective
فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟fa-is'takbarūbut they showed arrogance
وَكَانُوا۟wakānūand they were
قَوْمًۭاqawmana people
مُّجْرِمِينَmuj'rimīnacriminal
