فَالِقُ ٱلْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ سَكَنًا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ 96

[He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the night for rest and the sun and moon for calculation. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

فَالِقُfāliqu(He is the) Cleaver

فلقf-l-qnoun

ٱلْإِصْبَاحِl-iṣ'bāḥi(of) the daybreak

صبحs-b-hnoun

وَجَعَلَwajaʿalaand He has made

جعلj-'-lverb

ٱلَّيْلَal-laylathe night

ليلl-y-lnoun

سَكَنًۭاsakanan(for) rest

سكنs-k-nnoun

وَٱلشَّمْسَwal-shamsaand the sun

شمسsh-m-snoun

وَٱلْقَمَرَwal-qamaraand the moon

قمرq-m-rnoun

حُسْبَانًۭا ۚḥus'bānan(for) reckoning

حسبh-s-bnoun

ذَٰلِكَdhālikaThat

تَقْدِيرُtaqdīru(is the) ordaining

ٱلْعَزِيزِl-ʿazīzi(of) the All-Mighty
