Ghafir (The Forgiver) · Ayah 55

فَٱصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِبْكَـٰرِ 55

So be patient, [O Muḥammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [Allāh] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.

فَٱصْبِرْfa-iṣ'birSo be patient

إِنَّinnaindeed

وَعْدَwaʿda(the) Promise of Allah

وعدw-'-dnoun

ٱللَّهِl-lahi(the) Promise of Allah

ألهa-l-hnoun

حَقٌّۭḥaqqun(is) true

وَٱسْتَغْفِرْwa-is'taghfirAnd ask forgiveness

لِذَنۢبِكَlidhanbikafor your sin

ذنبdh-n-bnoun

وَسَبِّحْwasabbiḥand glorify

سبحs-b-hverb

بِحَمْدِbiḥamdi(the) praise

حمدh-m-dnoun

رَبِّكَrabbika(of) your Lord

رببr-b-bnoun

بِٱلْعَشِىِّbil-ʿashiyiin the evening

عشو'-sh-wnoun

وَٱلْإِبْكَـٰرِwal-ib'kāriand the morning
