قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا۟ فَإِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ 31
Translations
Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters."
Transliteration
Qul tarbassoo fa-inni maAAakum mina al-mutarabbiseen
Tafsir (Explanation)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) is commanded to tell the disbelievers to wait and see what will happen, for he too is waiting with them for Allah's judgment and punishment. بَلَىٰ مَن كَسَبَ سَيِّئَةً وَأَحَـٰطَتْ بِهِۦ خَطِيٓـَٔتُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ
Yes, [on the contrary], whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا
And [enter to] burn in a Blaze.
