إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ ضَلَـٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا 167
Translations
Indeed, those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allāh have certainly gone far astray.
Transliteration
Inna alladhina kafaroo wa saddu 'an sabili Allah qad dallu dalallan ba'eed
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah declares that those who disbelieve and actively prevent others from following Allah's path have gone far astray. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Tabari, the dual offense of kufr (disbelief) combined with saddu (turning people away from the path of Allah) compounds their misguidance, making their deviation profound and distant from the straight path. This emphasizes that those who not only reject faith themselves but actively work as obstacles to others' guidance face severe spiritual ruin.

Have you not seen those who claim themselves to be pure? Rather, Allāh purifies whom He wills, and injustice is not done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed].
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تُؤَدُّوا۟ ٱلْأَمَـٰنَـٰتِ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهَا وَإِذَا حَكَمْتُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ أَن تَحْكُمُوا۟ بِٱلْعَدْلِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ نِعِمَّا يَعِظُكُم بِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا
Indeed, Allāh commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allāh instructs you. Indeed, Allāh is ever Hearing and Seeing.
