Transliteration
Hudan wa bushra lil-mu'minin
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah describes the Quran as guidance (huda) and glad tidings (bushra) specifically for the believers. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Tabari, while the Quran is a message for all humanity, its benefits of guidance and comfort are fully realized only by those who believe in it and act upon its teachings.
