فِى مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍۭ 55
Translations
In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability.
Transliteration
Fī maqʿadi ṣidqin ʿinda malīkin muqtadir
Tafsir (Explanation)
This ayah describes the honored position of the righteous in Paradise, sitting in a seat of truth in the presence of an All-Powerful King (Allah). إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا
Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kāfūr,
۞ وَعِندَهُمْ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ
And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age.
