Tafsir (Explanation)

This ayah assures Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that his reward from Allah is inexhaustible and will never be diminished or cut off. Ibn Kathir explains that 'ghayra mamnun' (not withheld or diminished) refers to a reward that is continuous, abundant, and not subject to limitation or interruption. Al-Tabari emphasizes that this divine promise encompasses both the spiritual reward in the Hereafter and the honor granted to the Prophet in this life, serving as consolation during the trials of his mission.

The surah begins by swearing by the pen and begins addressing the psychological and spiritual struggles of the Prophet, offering him reassurance that despite current hardships and opposition, his ultimate reward with Allah is guaranteed and boundless.
