Tafsir (Explanation)

This ayah pronounces a severe warning of destruction and ruin upon those who reject and deny the signs of Allah and His messengers on the Day of Judgment. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Qurtubi, 'waylun' (woe/destruction) emphasizes the grievous punishment awaiting the deniers, highlighting the consequences of persistent rejection of divine truth. The repetition of this phrase throughout Surah Al-Mursalat (appearing 10 times) underscores the finality and severity of judgment for those who turn away from Allah's guidance.
