Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread) · Ayah 85

فَأَثَـٰبَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا قَالُوا۟ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ 85

So Allāh rewarded them for what they said with gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of doers of good.

فَأَثَـٰبَهُمُfa-athābahumuSo rewarded them

ٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah

ألهa-l-hnoun

بِمَاbimāfor what

قَالُوا۟qālūthey said

جَنَّـٰتٍۢjannātin(with) Gardens

تَجْرِىtajrīflows

جريj-r-yverb

مِنminfrom

تَحْتِهَاtaḥtihāunderneath them

تحتt-h-tnoun

ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُl-anhāruthe rivers

نهرn-h-rnoun

خَـٰلِدِينَkhālidīnawill abide forever

خلدkh-l-dnoun

فِيهَا ۚfīhāin it

noun

وَذَٰلِكَwadhālikaAnd that

noun

جَزَآءُjazāu(is the) reward

جزيj-z-ynoun

ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَl-muḥ'sinīna(of) the good-doers
