Al-Ma'arij · Ayah 35

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ مُّكْرَمُونَ 35

Translations

They will be in gardens, honored.

Transliteration

Ulaa'ika fee jannaatin mukramuun

Tafsir (Explanation)

This ayah describes the righteous believers as being honored and dignified in the gardens of Paradise. According to Ibn Kathir and Al-Tabari, 'mukramuun' (honored) emphasizes the supreme status and respect these believers will receive, indicating they will be treated with utmost honor and dignity in Paradise as a reward for their faith and righteous deeds. Al-Qurtubi notes that this honor encompasses both the physical pleasures of Paradise and the elevated spiritual station these believers will enjoy in the presence of Allah.
