فَجَعَلْنَـٰهَا نَكَـٰلًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ 66

And We made it a deterrent punishment for those who were present and those who succeeded [them] and a lesson for those who fear Allāh.

فَجَعَلْنَـٰهَاfajaʿalnāhāSo We made it

لِّمَاlimāfor those
