Al-A'raf (The Heights) · Ayah 56

وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَـٰحِهَا وَٱدْعُوهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا ۚ إِنَّ رَحْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ مِّنَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ 56

And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allāh is near to the doers of good.

فِىfīin

ٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earth

أرضa-r-dnoun

بَعْدَbaʿdaafter

إِصْلَـٰحِهَاiṣ'lāḥihāits reformation

صلحs-l-hnoun

وَٱدْعُوهُwa-id'ʿūhuAnd call Him

دعوd-'-wverb

خَوْفًۭاkhawfan(in) fear

خوفkh-w-fnoun

وَطَمَعًا ۚwaṭamaʿanand hope

طمعt-m-'noun

إِنَّinnaIndeed

رَحْمَتَraḥmata(the) Mercy

رحمr-h-mnoun

ٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allah

ألهa-l-hnoun

قَرِيبٌۭqarībun(is) near

قربq-r-bnoun

مِّنَminafor

ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَl-muḥ'sinīnathe good-doers
