Al-An'am (The Cattle) · Ayah 1

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ 1

[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.

ٱلْحَمْدُal-ḥamdu(All) the praises and thanks

حمدh-m-dnoun

لِلَّهِlillahi(be) to Allah

ألهa-l-hnoun

ٱلَّذِىalladhīthe One Who

خلقkh-l-qverb

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwātithe heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضَwal-arḍaand the earth

ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِl-ẓulumātithe darkness[es]

وَٱلنُّورَ ۖwal-nūraand the light

ثُمَّthummaThen

ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose who
