ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ 2

Transliteration

alladhī khalaqa fasawwā

Tafsir (Explanation)

This ayah refers to Allah, the Most High, who created all creation and perfected it in its form and function. Ibn Kathir explains that 'fasawwā' (perfected/proportioned) indicates that Allah created everything with perfect wisdom, beauty, and purpose, giving each creature its appropriate form and capabilities suited to its nature and role in creation.

Surah Al-A'la was revealed in Mecca and is an early Meccan surah focused on the glorification and praise of Allah.
